IMPORTANT … “COVID-19”   changes to our Driver Education program 

PLEASE  READ !!!

  • Urgent Learner Permit Information: If you are in a hurry to get your Learner Permit, your wait time at the Department of Public Safety is currently 4-6 weeks.  Rushing to do your 3 drives at Brown’s will not shorten that wait time.  We are all dependent on how quickly DPS can process applicants.  Be patient during these difficult days.
  • No drives are necessary to get a learner’s permit and DPS is waiving proof of the 8th grade reading proficiency during this Pandemic.
  • To schedule your leaners permit appointment at DPS go to “Driver Education/links and forms” on this website, then the “DPS Scheduler”.
  • No “Taxi” transportation to the Tag Agency is available after the driving test with us.   Many Tag Agencies are by appointment only.
