Terms & conditions

Each rider must read, understand, and agree to the these terms and conditions before continuing enrollment. 

Basic Rider Course
  • If the student is under 18 years of age a parent or legal guardian must approve the TERMS AND CONDITIONS contained herein and a parent must be present at the beginning of class to sign a waiver form prior to any on-bike training. Students must fully understand and acknowledge that there are DANGERS AND RISK OF INJURY, DAMAGE OR DEATH that exist in the use of motorcycles and motorcycle equipment in this MOTORCYCLE SAFETY COURSE.
  • Students are not guaranteed a seat in the class until the fee is paid in full. The fee is non-refundable. Cancellation fees may apply.
  • A student may leave the class due to his/her own choice. Students who voluntarily leave may attend a future class; however, full class tuition will be required.
  • A student must be present when class begins. Late arrivals (even a few minutes late) will be considered a “No Show,” will not be admitted to the class, and must reschedule for another class. Registration fees will apply.
  • If you are a “No Show” for your class you will be asked to reschedule for another class and pay the registration fee. All fees related to the motorcycle program are posted on the Brown’s Driving School website and are subject to change without notice. The motorcycle course fee is non-refundable.
  • Students under the age of 18 who fail to provide the required parent or guardian signature on the MSF Waiver and Indemnification documents prior to class will not be admitted to the class and will be considered a “No Show.” A notarized document is required if the parent or guardian does not appear in person at the training location. A student who fails to wear the proper safety clothing as described on the Brown’s website will not be allowed to attend class and will be considered a “No Show.”
  • Once you have paid your fee, provided the necessary documents, and the class has commenced you are considered to be “in the class.” The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) requires satisfactory completion of this course to receive the completion certificate. Students are required to pass a written and riding examination. It is possible to not satisfactorily complete either of these exams. The rider coach is the sole authority in determining your status.
  • The following is a contractual agreement now required by the State of Oklahoma to assure you, the student, that Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle is advising you of any and all cost(s) associated with the motorcycle safety courses. Please read the following and sign and date where indicated on the bottom of this form. We must have this form available at the beginning of class activity.
  • The Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle program offers motorcycle safety training courses that meet all Motorcycle Safety Foundation standards. Each instructor involved maintains their national certification through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and utilizes only the most current curriculum and materials. Updates and mini-seminars are conducted for the benefit of the instructors by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Chief Instructor, that likewise maintains certification with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as a Chief Instructor.
  • The Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle program provides to the student, property owners, instructors, and others with involved interest an insurance policy that provides for liability, training bike damage, medical and dental coverage. This coverage is included in the course fee. All written material, workbooks, and other like training aids are included in the cost of the course. All current audio-visual materials utilized are the property of the Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle program and will remain as such. From time to time instructors may take group pictures. There are no additional fees involved.
  • The Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle program maintains a fleet of training bikes to be utilized in its courses. All maintenance, fuel, and lubricants for these units will be provided by Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle. Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle does maintain an inventory of loaner gloves and helmets. There is no fee involved with their use. Students are encouraged to provide their own riding equipment. The required equipment is: long sleeve shirt or jacket, long pants, eye protection, over the ankle footwear, full fingered gloves, and a helmet. No student or instructor will be allowed to ride any portion of the course without all of these items.
  • Instructors will administer both a riding and a written test prior to the close of the course. On conclusion of the course, instructors will hand out various materials including the Motorcycle Safety Foundation completion cards to those who qualify for and meet the minimum standards. No fee is charged for these items.
  • If at remote training site, Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle will provide water. Soft drinks, lunch, or snacks are not provided.
  • The initial course fee is set to include all expenses and materials required to be successful in the programs with the exception of riding gear and meals. All course insurance, study material, training bikes (BRC), and fuel is provided as explained above. No student will be asked or solicited by any representative of Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle for any tuition or fee other than the original course fee. Any inquiry or activity of this type should be reported to Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle registration at 405-692-4844. This contract serves as a receipt. I understand that the only fees assessed by the Brown’s Driving School – Motorcycle for my participation in the rider safety course of my choice is the single course tuition fee and it includes all associated expenses.
  • In consideration of BROWN’S DRIVING SCHOOL, A & D ENTERPRISES INC., BROWN’S DRIVING SCHOOL-MOTORCYCLE and the MOTORCYCLE SAFETY FOUNDATION, including their members, employees, officers, and/or agents (the “Safety Course Providers”), furnishing services, equipment and/or curriculum to enable me to participate in the Motorcycle Safety Course, I AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
  • I fully understand and acknowledge that: (a) there are DANGERS AND RISK OF INJURY, DAMAGE OR DEATH that exist in my use of motorcycles and motorcycle equipment and my participation in the MOTORCYCLE SAFETY COURSE activities; (b) my participation in such activities and/or use of such equipment may result in injury or illness including but not limited to: BODILY INJURIES, DISEASE, STRAINS, SPRAINS, FRACTURES, PARTIAL AND/OR TOTAL PARALYSIS, OTHER AILMENTS THAT COULD CAUSE SERIOUS DISABILITY, OR DEATH; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the Safety Course Providers, the negligence of others, including the Safety Course participants, and may arise from foreseeable or unforeseeable causes, and (d) by participating in these activities and/or using the equipment, I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, hereby assume all risks and all responsibility, and agree to release the Safety Course Providers for any injuries, losses and/or damages including those caused solely or in part by the negligence of the Safety Course Providers, or any other person. If I have brought a motorcycle to use in the Safety Course, I also agree that this release applies to any damage that occurs to it during the Safety Course.
  • I agree and understand that on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, I am relinquishing any and all rights I now have or may have in the future to sue the Safety Course Providers for any and all injuries, damage or death that I may suffer arising from motorcycle riding or its equipment, including claims based on the Safety Course Provider’s negligence.
  • I have read this release agreement and I agree it is my intention to assume all risks and release the Safety Course Providers from liability for my personal injury, property damage or wrongful death caused by negligence or any other cause. I have had the opportunity to ask any questions about the above waiver and release and I understand its terms and meaning.
  • In consideration of BROWN’S DRIVING SCHOOL, A & D ENTERPRISES INC., BROWN’S DRIVING SCHOOL-MOTORCYCLE and the MOTORCYCLE SAFETY FOUNDATION, including their members, employees, officers, and/or agents (the “Safety Course Providers”), furnishing services, equipment and/or curriculum to enable me to participate in the Motorcycle Safety Course, I AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
  • I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify the Safety Course Providers from any and all claims, suits or causes of action by others for bodily injury, property damage, or other damages which may arise out of my use of motorcycles and motorcycle equipment or my participation in the Motorcycle Safety Course activities, including claims arising from the Safety Course Providers’ or any other party’s negligence.
  • I have read this Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement and by signing I agree it is my intention to accept legal responsibility and pay for any loss for claims or lawsuits against Safety Course Providers arising from my participation in the Motorcycle Safety Course. I have had the opportunity to ask any questions about the indemnification and hold harmless section and I understand it’s terms and meaning.
*I understand and agree to the Policies regarding the Basic Riding Course.
